Recommended Tools for the Best Vegan Ice Cream Recipe

  • Ice Cream Maker+Extra Freezer Bowls: I’ve been using the heck out of my ice cream maker! And tbh, I have several of them… 😉 These extra freezer bowls come in so handy–I can freeze multiples in advance and make several batches of vegan ice cream in a row without having to wait 24 hours for the first one to freeze.
  • My FavoriteFood Processor: this is literally my all-time favorite food processor. I use it for everything from making homemade nut butters, no bake recipes and for all of my ice cream recipes. It’s durable, easy to use and so friggin’ reliable.
  • Raw Cashew Butter: the #1 most important ingredient in this recipe. Yep, more important than coconut cream! (Even though you should not skip that lol.) It’s THE best ingredient for preventing icy texture in your homemade ice cream. Better than guar gum, better than vodka. Yes, I’ve tried it all! I prefer using raw over roasted because raw has a much subtler taste. Roasted cashew butter makes itself known. Ha! If you’ve got roasted cashew butter, try using that in myhomemade cashew coconut milk vegan ice creamrecipe.
